Re: Funney Quotes from Games

So in the Sidereals game I'm in, we're rescuing an Abyssal! We've been running for hours, abusing the fact we have two Journeys, tracking Charms, and both Journeys in question are strong enough to carry the other two PCs. Anyway. [17:23] BaSTet Its now the early hours of the morning when suddenly yo...

[BahamutRhapsody] "What the hell are you doing up there?"

http://fc03.deviantart.net/fs71/f/2011/315/6/f/simone_sketch_by_bahamutrhapsody-d4fvpt9.jpg "Reading." BahamutRhapsody 's a fun artist who made this in apology for all the setbacks while working on another commission. But it's another Simone picture, secretly taking way too much pleasure ...

Re: Funney Quotes from Games

From the r20s Exalted game, we're dealing with a little incident on an island in Greece that the Italians are occupying, and have been spending the last few days dealing with a murder, a saboteur, and finally the group's back together. <Storytelleress> following the destruction of the shore gun the ...

Re: What is everyone playing lately?

I'm in a 1920s Exalted game and a Dynast game on Tuesdays, a Kereberos Club FATE game and an L5R game on Thursdays, and a Sidereals game on Saturdays. And a BESM game as a pick-up so an ST can test out combat stats for a game he wants to run.

So fairly plenty.

astra - that is awesome. just pure awesome. I should introduce a houserule to my game that if you stunt using suitable youtube vid references then it'll up the stunt bonus... Re: Funney Quotes from Games

So, I'm in a Dynast DBs game, playing a demure Air-Aspected sorceress of House Cynis. During a visit to the Heptagram for some research, my character found a heavily coded book and decided to take it home. This was my stunt for deciphering. <Cynis_Kyrin> Kyrin waltzes into her room the evening after...

Re: Post Your Recipes Here

I'm a weeaboo when it comes to food, and recently, I got a copy of Personal Trainer: Cooking. I ended up getting addicted to one recipe, which I ended up improvising into something that's more my own. Most of this is approximations, since I don't measure the amount of veggies I use. Astra's Okonomiy...

Re: Funney Quotes from Games

"no one's that stupid" - that is his specialty??? Yes. and how is that canon? It is actually in canon; in Lords of Creation, the Dragonblooded officer Chuzei Vagyn Zu has it. It's on p. 159, near the bottom. ...and how does it work? Refuge in audacity and basically taking advantage of tha...

Re: Funney Quotes from Games

So, in Blessing of the Dragons, three of the female PCs were asking an old teacher about people they knew who attended the House of Bells, mostly our fiances. This is what happened when Cathak Koda, Cynis Kyrin's fiance, was brought up. [18:03] <Nellens_Sarika> "I was bigger on Heavy Infantry t...

Re: New Picture Thread

Are you pulling Comic-Con out of your hat, or sawing it in half? Sawing it in half would be a lot more helpful, at least it would mean more space for con-goers and maybe I can fix a few things, like how they handle panels and such. One of the really fun things was I ended up joining the Homestuck m...

Re: Funney Quotes from Games

Hatewheel and Holden are apparently working on the Lunars as we speak, while TDO and Neall are handling god-blooded or something. I'm hoping the errata will be finished before the last volume of the compass comes out. I have no idea if they're also working on Sids or not. I hope they are. I'll ask ...

I wish they'd fix the charmset already. ;^; Not that I've had a chance to actually play Exalted in what, two years, but it'd be nice to know that the splat I generally prefer isn't broken to the point of being nigh unplayable outside like two builds.

Lunars should be jelly.

Agreed, alas. I handed Clay a copy of the Loom 2.0 that Plague of Hats did before game start so he would have better Charms for the Sidereal NPCs we have to fight.

I hadn't heard much about that project lately (tbh Nocturnals are a little too far on the Sparklypoo side of things for me to take more than passing interest), but if there's a fansplat for it, I guess it didn't die. XD Sounds like you guys are having fun with the playtesting. It's surprisingly ver...

Re: Funney Quotes from Games

Ouch. Meanwhile, while helping to playtest Clayton's Nocturnals , we ended up in the Forbidding Manse, during Calibration on a mission to retrieve part of Nox's Panoply. Things are fairly tense, as while we have my character's Charms creating Illusionary Backing that covers us, we are doing what we ...

Re: [Autumnflare] Simone de Bergerac, 1920s Serenity

This is actually a really cool character adaptation! I like it a lot. He actually is rather different from Sacre and it's fun! More focused on Occult and art, sacrificed his innocence for sorcery and the appreciation of any sort of innocence for necromancy, a different family situation (four older ...

[Autumnflare] Simone de Bergerac, 1920s Serenity

As usual because I can't draw worth a shit, I commissioned another character of mine, Simone, my Serenity in Enchantress's Roaring20s Exalted game, with his twin sister/ghostly familiar, Alouette. The glasses actually conceal his real eye color until he commits motes for Essence sight, so the pictur...

No, he's a Treasured, like the thread title says. It's a Winter Masques kith. He just is a member of the Southern Court, which has the Vermilion Bird for its symbol.

Re: What's the typical length of your games?

Full game session tend to be 3-4 hours for me online, and it seems like usually the successful ones are about a year and a half for their stories to be told. Some live longer, but in both cases of such long lived ones, they eventually died.
