Re: Glamorous Warrior Style (CMA)

For all the good it does, I just noticed this and I love it! (I also love & adore magical girl anime) I like the light and dark trees because that lets you explore some of the darker magical girl deconstruction series like Puella Magi Madoka Magica and Magical Girl Raising Project plus others th...

Re: NSFW: Into the Badlands (exalted on TV)

I watched a couple of episodes from the new(ish?) second season and I have no clue whats going on - will have to find the first season to binge and catch up, people are dying all over the place. Good shit so far.

Re: Nellens Aramaki

Can you re-upload the older picture for reference? Like I said in the other thread concerning Pascal, this new picture reflects your continued experience. I don't recall grease smudges from the earlier picture and presuming they aren't there - them being there now is a nice touch - a gearhead should...

Re: [Art] Pascal

I like Pascal a lot. Her picture (which I presume is recent) shows how far you've come over the years as an artist. I find the one word used to describe her; Perky, makes me think of Meru from Legend of Dragoon on the PSX - I can't explain why, it just does. Her prosthetic arm is really interesting ...

Re: [Art] Lady of the Still Tides

The 14th Deathlord proudly welcomes another Abyssal into her ranks. I really like the artifact anchor and its abilities, I almost think of the chain as a separate piece entirely. Ladies backstory is par for the course as far as Abyssals are concerned; tragedy, revenge, lost loves, hatred and malice ...

I preferred to read about the various Dorf Fortress threads on /tg/ as opposed to play the game. Its all over when Carp show up though, always.

Re: Departure from Canon

The Deathlords were in my opinion nothing more than overpaid middlemen/women and they went and fucked that up by botching the Great Contagion. That in mind is where I started liking the 14th Deathlord concept from the 1e Abyssals book (naming myself yours truly). I figured since thirteen was just wa...

Re: My Personal Errata: Heaven Thunder Hammer

I second this. While I love the work Ink Monkeys did for the Charms of 2nd edition...I think somewhere along the line the math they came out broke down and they didnt realize and/or didnt fully play-test it such a scenario going for "Rule of Cool" as opposed to anything else.

Fundementally, I think thats what one of the problems with Exalted was for all types; regardless of their status on the hieirarchy - all Exalts are still essentially Human - very powerful ones at that, but still Human.

Re: Gamers behaving badly

Since coming back to Florida I've reconnected with my high school gaming group who (big suprise) still games together with a few new faces and after a few months I am glad to say that for the most part - most of the "That Guy/Girl" and other drama is mostly gone or non-existant. We have a ...

Re: Exalted 3rd Edition confirmed for December 2012

I have to agree with some of the dialogue concerning combat, "Hit, barely" and "Critical!" tend to be the only outcomes with no middle ground - you either hit for essence score ping or you completely obliterate your opponents. Which in certain themes can make sense when it comes ...

Re: Few questuions bout game

I'd argue the deer probably "lured" the spider into attacking it somehow, because I usually run hunts as intentional processes, not accidents the Lunar can just benefit from. But I don't want to get into an argument involving giant spiders. GIANT SPIDERS! GIANT SPIDERS, EVERYWHERE!!! :mow:
