I was going to say that he should start digging straight down, on the theory that he'll eventually pop out the other side of the world, but then I remembered that Creation is flat.

I assume you eventually reach the Underworld. It seems more appropriate than popping out into the Wyld.

Or maybe the rock just gets infinitely hard and dense as you approach the Pole of Earth, and you can't go any further.

Wel, if there are caves that can eventualy lead you to the underworld, I suppose digging far enough down would probably do the same (though it may dump you in the labyrinth). Of course, assuming he was close enough, Aiden would probably drop into mountain folk tunnels before he got that deep (or just collapse of exhaustion after a few feet of digging).

You get to meet the various castaways of the Primordials. Eventually, according to some reckoning, you will reach the Labyrinth, and from there you can reach the Underworld, but that's just a possibility and not canon.
