I tried to upload a story yesterday, just to test it out. However, there are some problems. First, the submissions process requires that a story be given a rating, but the drop-down menu is completely empty. There was also something about needing an admin's permission or approval or something before the story went public - but now I can't even see that I've uploaded anything at all.

The fiction archive isn't quite ready for prime time yet, so a lot of the functions don't work and when it does go properly live it'll clear out what's already up there, so we recommend you stick to the forums for now.

Unless uhrwerk comes along for another Kon Has No Damned Clue moment, which is hardly an impossibility given my general level of competence.

Nope. I've just not had the time or the mental bandwidth to mess with the site lately. I'll try to get it (finally) set up and working this week.

Has there, erm, been any update on this?

Well, I'd be really happy to have it going. I fully intend on using it IF it ever gets moving. Is there anything I can do to facilitate us getting a working fiction archive?

So are we just going to forget the Fiction Archive was going to be a thing, or are there plans in the works to come back to it?
