Augh. That is a sucky thing, both for Flence and the dear lady in question. Being in the hospital and having family in the hospital is no fun deal (says Captain Obvious). I hope she recovers quickly, for her sake and the sanity of you two (and all further extended family).

...though it gives me more time to fiddle with this idea for a speech I started thinking might have to be made if the question of captaincy came up, should the Captain not survive his unfortunate wound.
